This Speedmaster Racing Master Chronometer model features a 44.25 mm stainless steel case and bracelet with a black ceramic bezel ring that includes the famous tachymeter scale in Liquidmetal™

On the black dial, there is a distinctive racing style minute-track which gives the watch its name. There are also two subdials with blackened applied rings as well as a 6 o’clock date window that blends with the colour of the dial. The hour and minute hands are rhodium plated while the arrowhead indexes are 18K white gold with white Super-LumiNova.

The watch is driven by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer 9900, certified by METAS at the industry’s highest standard.

Calibre Omega 9900: Self-winding chronograph with column wheel and Co-Axial escapement. Certified Master Chronometer, approved by METAS, resistant to magnetic fields reaching 15,000 gauss. Silicon balance-spring, 2 barrels mounted in series, time zone function. Central hour, minute and chronograph seconds hands, small seconds hand, 12-hour and 60-minute recorders. Rhodium plated finish with Geneva waves in arabesque.

FEATURES

Anti-Magnetic: The movement is unaffected by exposure to strong magnetic fields, even those greater than 1.5 tesla (15,000 gauss).

Small Seconds: A hand on a sub-dial which tracks seconds typically it completes a full rotation in one minute.

Tachymeter: A tachymeter watch has a function for measuring speed. It is a chronograph with a graduated dial on which speed can be read in kilometres per hour based on a 1000 metre distance.

Transparent Case Back: A transparent case back – frequently made of sapphire – makes it possible to see the movement inside the watch.
