Celebrating its enduring partnership with James Bond, OMEGA has created 257 Limited Edition watch sets each presented in their own Globe-Trotter™ suitcase.

This 42 mm Seamaster Diver 300M model in stainless steel is one of two watches in the set. Presented on a black rubber strap, it features an 18K yellow gold plate on the side of the case, engraved with each Limited Edition number.

There is a black ceramic bezel with a white enamel diving scale, as well as a spiral-brushed black ceramic dial, which has been given a black PVD colour treatment and a laser-engraved gun-barrel design, with its centre in exactly 9mm. 18K yellow gold is used for the hands, indexes and Bond family coat-of-arms at 12 o’clock, and there is a small 007 logo at 7 o’clock.

Elsewhere, a secret number “50” is hidden in the luminescent material of the 10 o’clock index – a reference to the 50th anniversary of the James Bond film “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service”. On the sapphire crystal of the caseback, you will find the Bond family coat-of-arms metallised in gold and black. Inside, the watch is driven by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806. The set includes an additional stainless steel bracelet as well as a NATO strap for each model.

Free sprung-balance with silicon balance spring, automatic winding in both directions. Special luxury finish with rhodium-plated rotor and bridges with Geneva waves in arabesque.

FEATURES

Anti-Magnetic: The movement is unaffected by exposure to strong magnetic fields, even those greater than 1.5 tesla (15,000 gauss).

Automatic Watch: A self-winding watch or automatic watch uses a mechanical movement whose main spring is wound automatically by the natural motion of the wearer’s arm.

Chronometer: Label given to a watch which has undergone precision tests and received a certificate from an official body (COSC).

Helium Escape Valve: Decompression system which allows helium to escape from inside the watch when the watch is worn for professional use in pressure chambers. (Long-term underwater work, crude oil exploration, etc.)

Limited Edition (257): A series of watches whose production run is determined in advance of production and limited to a set number.

Master Chronometer Certified: Guaranteeing the Swiss industry’s highest standard of precision, performance and magnetic-resistance, as set by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).

Screw-In Crown: Self-locking crown, screwed into the tube of the case, used for highly water resistant divers’ watches.

Transparent Case Back: A transparent case back – frequently made of sapphire – makes it possible to see the movement inside the watch.

Unidirectional Rotating Bezel: A bezel which turns in only one direction. Particularly useful for divers who cannot accidentally rotate it in the wrong direction, which could cause them to miscalculate their dive times. A rotating bezel makes it easy to measure elapsed time.
