Gucci announces the ultra-thin GUCCI 25H, a gender-neutral, super sleek mechanical watch perfectly suited to our times

Gucci presents an exceptional high-watchmaking timepiec housing a debut in-house calibre, the GUCCI GG727.25, developed and produced by the state-of-the-art Kering movement manufacture in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Not only is this movement a triumphant in the Florentine House’s watchmaking history, it is fitted in the new GUCCI 25H watch design, Gucci’s first mechanical watch in the ultra-thin sports-luxe mode. The calibre name references important numerical symbols within Gucci: ‘7 to encapsulate a sense of completeness, ‘2’ representing balance and cooperation; ‘5’ symbolising curiosity and freedom.

The GUCCI 25H reflects the sleek forms of contemporary architecture, where functional, industrial materials like steel were celebrated as precious in their own right. This can be seen in the continuous rhythms of the horizontal satin-brushed lines on the watch dial and Interlocking G logo.

With its clean, sporty lines and sleek, contrasting finishes, the GUCCI 25H encapsulates the House’s aesthetic, its super-slim profile highlighting the brand’s understanding of fine-watchmaking codes.

The ultra-slim case and integrated bracelet accent the smooth, multi-layered architecture of the GUCCI 25H, while alternate polished and satin-brushed metal finishes create shadows and depth, accenting almost 50 years of Gucci expertise in watch design.

The GUCCI 25H bears a playfully symbolic name, containing a number that Alessandro Michele considers a talisman and one he often features in his collections for Gucci.
